How Did David Defeat Goliath?

Young David went to visit his brothers, soldiers in King Saul's army. The army was hiding from the enemy, a nine-foot giant named Goliath.
David stepped up. He wore no armor and carried no sword or spear, just his slingshot and five smooth pebbles from a nearby stream.
He shouted to the giant, "Goliath, today I come to you in the name of the Lord God!" A stone flew from David's sling and Goliath fell down dead. The mighty giant so many had feared was defeated by a young boy's love for his people and trust in his God.
