Why Did Joseph's Brothers Hate Him?

        Joseph had eleven brothers, but his father Jacob loved him best of all. He gave Joseph a coat of beautiful colors to wear. That made Joseph's brothers angry. God spoke to Joseph in his dreams. Joseph dreamed that someday he would be a very important man.

    One day the brothers sold Joseph to traders. They told their father that his favorite son had been killed by a wild animal. Joseph was taken to Egypt where he worked first as a servant, and later as an important adviser tot he king. What Joseph's brothers meant as evil, God turned to good.
