Israelites wandered in the wilderness. At last, God led them across the Jordan River and
into the homeland He had promised to them. But strong enemies lived in the land.
God told Joshua and his men to march around the walls of Jericho. For six days, the people of Jericho watched in fear as the Israelites played their trumpets and carried the holy box of the Ten Commandments. On the seventh day, the Israelites marched around the city seven times. Then they gave a mighty shout, and the walls of Jericho fell. The city was theirs!
