How Did Paul Escape From Damascus?

Paul was the first
missionary. He traveled to cities all over Asia. The priests who taught about false gods
grew angry. Paul's words about Jesus's love made too many people change their minds! The
false priests would complain to the city rulers. Paul was often put in jail or beaten and
thrown out of the city.
In the city of Damascus, Paul's friends learned that the king planned to arrest him. So they hid Paul inside a huge basket tied with long ropes. They lowered Paul down through a hole in the city wall. Paul escaped, and continued to preach the good news about Jesus wherever he went.
