Ruth loved Naomi. She left everything to go with her. "Do not ask me to leave you, for where you go, I will go," Ruth told Naomi.

Life in Bethlehem was very hard. Ruth went into the fields every day to pick up grain that the workers had dropped. Boaz, the owner of the fields, saw how hard Ruth worked. He married her and invited Naomi to live in their new home.

The Lord rewarded Ruth's great love for Naomi. This loyal woman was blessed with a son who grew up to be the grandfather of the great King David.
