Why Did Jesus
Tell The Story Of The Good Samaritan?

"There once was a traveler," Jesus
said, "who was hurt by robbers. As the traveler lay beside the road bleeding, two men
from his own country passed by. Neither man stopped to help. But then a stranger, from the
land of Samaria, took the injured traveler to an inn. The stranger paid for everything the
traveler needed."
The people listening to Jesus's story thought very hard. Jesus wanted them to be kind, even to someone they did not know well.
