Who Visited the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem?

The night that
Jesus was born, some shepherds were in the hills outside of Bethlehem. As they watched,
the sky above grew bright with glorious light. They were astonished to see an angel.
"Do not be afraid," he said. "Your Savior, has been born." The
shepherds went into Bethlehem. When they saw the baby Jesus, they praised God for his
goodness.
Later, some wise men came to the stable. From their homes in distant lands they had followed a special star to Bethlehem. They gave baby Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh, gifts to honor a newborn king.
