            Where was the last supper?

        every year, people from all over Israel traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. even though he knew his life was in danger, Jesus wanted to be there.

    "go into the city," he told peter and john. "look for a man carrying a water jar on his head. he will lead you to a house with a large upstairs room. that is where we will eat the Passover meal."

    at their last supper together, Jesus spoke words which the disciples never forgot. "this bread is my body I am giving for you. this cup stands for my blood, which I shed for you. eat, drink, and remember me." every time we partake communion, the lord's supper, we honor Jesus.
