What was the miracle of the loaves and fishes?

        Hugh crowds gathered wherever Jesus went. Everyone wanted to hear His wonderful words about God. One time, five thousand people sat on a hillside all day long, listening to Jesus. They began to get hungry, but there was no food.

    Then a boy offered to share his meal. He had brought five small pieces of bread and two little fish. The people sat down. They watched as Jesus gave thanks to God. Then he broke the boy's food into pieces. It was a miracle! There were enough pieces to feed everyone there on the hillside!
