When were the disciples filled with the holy spirit?
After Jesus rose from the dead, he showed himself to his disciples so they would know he was alive. "Soon," Jesus said, I will go back to heaven to be with my Father. The Holy Spirit will come to you."
On the day of Pentecost, the disciples were meeting together. Suddenly a noise like a strong wind filled the room. Flames of fire burned in the air over each man's head. The disciples began speaking in different languages, telling the great things God had done. A huge crowd of people heard the disciples speak that day. Three thousand people that day began to believe the Holy Spirit had come.
