What did Jesus teach in the sermon on the Mount?

        Everywhere Jesus went, he taught about God's love. Great crowds began to follow Him. So that everyone could hear, Jesus went up on top of a hill. "Blessed are the people who want to do right, who make peace, who put themselves last. God loves them so!

    "You must be like a shining light. Do good things so other people will learn how to act. Treat your enemies with kindness. Pray for them. It is God's rule that you do for other people the very same things you would want them to do for you."

    The people were amazed at Jesus. They knew His words came for the Lord.
